Glinda Irene Stancl, also known as GG and Auntie, 66 yrs, passed away to heaven peacefully at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Glinda requested no services. Glinda pre-registered herself to be donated to UC Davis School of Medicine. Her wishes were granted. Born August 7, 1944, Van Buren, AR, to George Ray and Pearl Edna Hyatt. Resided in CA since the age of 4, attended Central HS in El Centro and graduated Highlands HS 1963, North Highlands, CA. A loving mother and a dedicated civil service employee at McClelland AFB for 21 years. A passion for bowling. A knack for telling jokes and making people laugh. Surviving are husband David Stancl; son, David Michael Stancl of Tracy, CA; daughter, Dawnene Alexander of Newcastle, CA; granddaughter, Rachel Alexander; grandson, Curtis Alexander; two brothers, Carl Hyatt of Elk Grove, CA and Marvin Hyatt of Alma, AR; two nieces near and dear, Janett Latham and Melissa Kay Hankoff; great nephews AKA grandchildren, Nick Hankoff and Aaron Hankoff, numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister and one great niece AKA granddaughter, Melissa Michael Hankoff. Special thanks to staff at Kaiser Permanente Roseville.
