Celebration of Life - February 18, 2019
Per Michelle Marlowe: Thank you so much to all of you who reached out and showed up for that quick gathering at Round Table to pay respects. So many people have asked what they can do, can we start a go Fund Me Account, Etc. I have a suggestion that I think Rod would love: Start following a local company called HauteBird of Sacramento on Facebook and catch some of their Pop Up Events around town. We saw them on Good Day, they make awesome Chicken and Cone Waffles, have pop up events around town ( we had a night life driving downtown on Saturday nights to hang out with young people and eat some bomb food), and best of all, the company devotes money and training doing incredible work getting women and children off the streets. I think that Rod would love for his friends to support this local group, and I'm certain he would have loved turning some of you on to the Chicken( 6 different flavors!). Bon appetit!
Per Robin Louise Clarkson: I will never, ever, forget you Charles Mabry. From the moment we met at Faith Alive Christian Church you became my best friend, my confidant, my spiritual leader to Christ! I could go on and on about the greatness of your 💓 and yet in the end this very thing that took you too heaven. It is the memories of church, feeding the homeless, our outreaches to the lost and broken, our long talks over coffee and our love for Christ that brought us together. Rest in peace my dear friend, RIP❣️ | | |
