Camp Carrol,Con Tien, GIO Linh on DMZ). Hill 327 Jan 1968 ( An Hoa, Hill 55 and 65). Discharged August 1968.Was on the Rock Pile from mid Dec. 1966 til mid Feb. 1967. Sat main CP at Dong Ha from mid Feb. into March. 1967. CP tent blown up during major incoming in Dong Ha. Then went to GIO Linh for 30 Days with Staff Sgt. Bob Irons(He volunteered me.)Gio Linh is not listed as a major site but was one of the more dangerous sites I was at. We took incomng daily from 6am til dusk
everyday. A rocket landedin from of our parapit blowing me out into the trench which led to our sleeping quarters which were buried underground. Our antenna for our PRD-1 was litterally cut in half with schrapnel.
