Living in the beautiful Napa Valley, working for the City of Napa for 27 years, 3 to go. healthy and happy, mediating. Vernon Lee Godwyn passed away December 14, 2013, Saturday afternoon following a brief battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on Oct. 20. The six Godwyn children gathered at Vern's Nov. 10.
Vern will be cremated.
A private service at the grave site will be held. The family plans a celebration of life at their home.
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts during this very difficult time we have gone through.
As you know my dad passed away June 10.
I then lost my best girl friend this fall. My parents would have been married 66 years Dec. 13.
I being their first anniversary present will be 65 years young this Thursday.
