Born May 26, 1947 in Berkeley, CA to Dewey and Joenetta Phillips and passed away on April 7, 2009 at his home in Gridley, CA. Dewey grew up in No. Highlands, CA and graduated from Highlands High Class of '65. He graduated from Sac State University and worked at McClellan AFB for 35 yrs. Dewey retired as a system support branch chief in the F22 logistics support division. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Keith Phillips. Survived by his sister, Sandra Kearney; former wife of 34 yrs, Judith Phillips; stepson, Keith Tritch and numerous nephews & nieces. Gravesite services will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11:00am at Sierra View Memorial Park, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA.
