Barbara passed away Oct. 31, 2011 after a battle with cancer. Her sister, Jan, wants alumni to know that the service will be on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11:00 am at Sierra View, 6201 Fair Oaks Drive.

Sunrise: June 17, 1947-Sunset: October 31, 2011. Beloved wife of Dan Norris, wonderful mama/mother-in-law to: Amanda and Justus Adams and Sondra and Scott Christian. Loving granny to: Alexander, Travis, Emma, Austin, Andrew and Daniel. Preceded in death by parents Vincent and Mabel Schiavone. Sister to: Jan, Jim and Buck Schiavone. Wonderful Auntie to 18 nephew and nieces. Barbara was born in Sebastopol, California and a 1965 graduate of Highlands High School. She had worked in the bakery business for 10 years and her cakes and cupcakes were always highly anticipated, delicious and beautiful. Her time with us was too short - but unforgettable. We will be celebrating Barbara's life on Saturday November 12, 2011 at 11am. Service will be held at Sierra View Funeral Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd. Carmichael, CA 95608.
