It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Anthony Allen. He was born in Urbana, Illinois. He was the first of three children born to Joan and Richard Allen. In 1967, he moved to California with his Mom and two sisters. He grew up in North Highlands and attended Highlands High school. Michael transitioned on January 2, 2018. He is survived by his mother Joan Allen Bryant, father Richard (Onita) Allen; sisters Rene (Marlon) Mollow, Gayle Claiborne; Lakisha (Eric) Blake; Junita Allen; step brother Conrad Donahue; daughter Latanya Baker; Felicia Walker; Janetta Paiva; sons Michael and Joaquin; eight grandchildren. Michael is also survived by a host of family members and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Roland. And his maternal and paternal grandparents. Family and Friends are invited to a memorial celebration to honor his life, January 20, 2018, 11:00 a.m. At Saint Marks United Methodist Church 2391 Saint Marks Way, Sacramento, CA.95864 Repass immediately following the service.
